He leaned closer to her, placing his hand just above her shoulder. “What are you going to do about it, short stuff?” He murmured, holding eye contact with her. She pressed her back against the wall, feeling increasingly uneasy. She didn’t want to admit the fact she was losing confidence, obviously. “The very best I (bleep) can.” She drily replied, ignoring the shake that came into her tone. “Mm.” He regarded her, smirking. “I should hope so. I do l0v3 to see you try.” He whispered in her ear, closing the distance between the two of them. She bit her lip, attempting to keep her expression unreadable. Her mouth opened, most likely with a dry retort, but… nothing came out. He released his hand from its place next to her neck, that irritating grin still on his face. “I look forward to the next time we meet. But, until then, you’ll just have to remember me in your dreams.” And, with that, he left, expression as smug as ever. Anna just stood there for a moment, then shaking her head. “Never again.” She muttered to herself.
