Tails EXE is about 13-14 years old in this. That's why he looks older and his voice is deeper. The real reason sonic died is bc shadow sadly killed him. All cred goes to @AmirTheHedgehog8 In the last two tails sprites is where he turns back to regular tails. That's why his eyes and color changes. So, what happened is Tails turned into Tails EXE when sonic passed away. And, when Sonic talked to tails it makes tails EXE go away bc tails isn't sad when sonic talk to him.
