In 1910, the Dynabloxian Royal Air Forces (DRAF) was created as a branch of the Dynabloxian Army, which focused mainly on the new (at the time) technology of aviation (mainly via planes), and military uses of them. The image shown in the project is a depiction of a Dynabloxian pilot standing in front of his Stlaxzi reconnaissance plane, first manufactured in 1908 for the civilian market, before it was used as a military plane. Most Dynabloxian military planes during the early 1910s were used for reconning, due to a few reasons: - Most planes only had the space to contain one person, so there was no real way to have a machine gun or similar weapon mounted onto the plane, and used while flying (This was before they figured out how to sync the guns with the propellers so you could fire "through" them, so mounting them on the front wouldn't really work yet) - Enemy planes were usually rare, and oftentimes not armed (for the same reasons mentioned above) - There was no such thing as a "bomber" plane, because bombs big enough to actually do significant damage were too heavy (or large) for planes to handle without breaking (or fly at acceptable speeds) - 2-seated planes that were capable of mounting a machine gun were often rare due to most of the basic designs coming from civilian markets, and most 1-seat planes were too small to fly well if they were modified to have 2 seats (assuming that these 2 seats are arranged with one being in front of another) Honestly, IDK what to write anymore, so please accept the fact that this sentence is the way that this tidbit of lore ends, and not something perhaps more professional.
