A bird that resides in what most birds havent, this near-corvid is what you might first see at a visit to the 3D world. This bird is best known for 2 things: 1, where it resides in and 2, what its named after. These birds actually didnt just appear in the 3D world, but rather some pairs and many juveniles of the ancestors of these birds migrated there. those ancestors had way darker and less vibrant coloration, and the birds chose to breed with the most colorful males, resulting in the colors of the current Squaretails. the birds are monogamous, mating with one partner, but will change partners every year. Females lay ether 2 or 3 eggs in a single clutch, hatching at 25 days and later fledging ~40 days later. individual shown here is a male, with the vibrant coloration. females are way less vibrant, having a white chest, pale blue wings, nearly no mask and is 30% smaller then the males. juveniles look like females, the difference being 5% smaller then females, having a gray beak and a more rectangular tail. differences also include having darker eyes like all juveniles. due to being related to corvids, these birds have some intelligence near corvids.
