Try the remix tree: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/733338490/remixtree Those pesky barrels are back with a medieval twist against the crenellated stone wall of a regal castle! Starting from the bottom, the climbers must sprint across all four floors & ascend towards the chequered goal in order to gain 'wins' and increase the difficulty. It's easier said than done, as all sorts of barrels are constantly rolled out across the platform & down to the bottom, which the player must jump over to avoid bumps, squishes, KOs, and other crazy effects. The climbers can use ladders to help them reach the top quicker, but barrels can tumble down them and get in the way of that. The higher the difficulty, the faster barrels will roll out. If our daring crew takes too long to reach the top, the difficulty will decrease to make it easier. That being said, will they be able to reach the gruelling maximum Difficulty 10.0?! We'll have to wait and see. Hover over a character to see their name and amount of wins. If the thumbnail appears while the project is still running, click/tap it to hide it. Please note that the layering may be inaccurate at certain points... ==== HOW 2 REMIX ==== Want to add more players climbing the castle? Follow these instructions carefully to get them in: 1. Scroll down below these instructions & read the rules! Don't proceed until you have. 2. Comment "Remixing..." to notify others, then click the green 'Remix' button at the top-right corner. 3. Create a duplicate of the "Player0" sprite. (right-click the sprite on the sprite list, then click "duplicate") 4. Create your character! Replace every costume in the duplicated sprite with your character, replace all "Voice" sound clips (at the bottom of the sound list) with your character's voice, & set their name, Run-animation and sound-amount settings. If you wish, you can also change their Footstep & Jump sounds. 5. Test your project &, if you like the result, either continue to add more characters or share it! 6. Modify the title to match the current remix number & amount of climbers. You're also allowed to add characters to the thumbnail & add more music tracks. ==== RULES ==== Only @Burgnew_On_A_Laptop, @ZYellow, @Kyle3912Again, @SCRACO65, @Eliminated, @BobbyTheCatTheFirst, @SlyCotton-Apriwolf and @meow10010 are allowed to break these rules. Remember REMIX ETIQUETTE: Comment "Remixing..." in the comments before starting a remix so people know not to accidentally split the remix tree's branches. Don't delete or ruin anything you didn't make, unless to fix glitches, errors or rule-breaks, delete unused scripts, or (only if you're a rule-breaker) to add a new feature to the game. 5. Don't make your characters too large, that would make it hard to see or make them too inaccurate compared to their hitbox. I suggest scaling your character assets IN THE COSTUME EDITOR to match the size of the other characters before making your other costumes. 6. I don't recommend adding any singular characters that appear to be 2 separate characters (EG: Mario & Luigi both as 1 player), unless they are stuck together with no feasible way to physically detach them. 7. Don't delete any music tracks unless they break the SCG. If you don't want to listen to a certain song or genre, utilize the "audio exemption" functionality to make sure you can't. 8. On the topic of music, please also refer to the Music comment's recommended music limit so this project's file size doesn't bloat too quickly. 9. You can add yourself to the thumbnail, but please don't delete any characters off it (unless they must be removed due to breaking the rules) or completely change it altogether. 10. If you are part of the "breaking rules" list, you're allowed to add a new rule if needed. Remember to add it to both the RULE RECAP comment and the project's instructions! Make sure you double-check these rules in the thumbnail just before you share the project. Woah, my next remix on the same day as the release date? Speedy Featherweight Frankie would be proud. Really though, I had prepared my brand-new player and music assets before the minigame's release so I didn't have to waste precious time making them up for when it came time to make my remix. Sorry if things seem a little rushed here and there, it was getting late.... ==== WHAT DID I DO? ==== - Introducing Thomas and Stikwig! It's the latter's first appearance with a vector of his ERNY-reboot look! I might share it somewhere else soon. -- I was originally set to revoice him myself, but when I was doing the voiceclips, a combination of sheer stress and dissatisfaction with my results led me to reuse his old Cookie-Clicker Cam-Cam voices again. Hopefully someday he or someone else can properly make new voices for him. - I also readded @Andreyfan11 from an alternate remix chain, but I had to align his KO costume properly and remove two unnecessary "voice-clips" from him, due to his silence. - A few voice-clips in Barney, Frankie, Hector, ZYellow, ZYella, Skylar and ProDelta110 have been loudened to stand out more. NEW MUSIC TRACKS: GAMEPLAY (6): Ego Check (GENESIS), Food and Drink (GENESIS), New Samba, Light From the Sky, Go Crazy! {party game}, Cackletta Battle STAR-POWER (2): Star Power (Mario Kart: Super Circuit), Super Star (Paper Mario: The Origami King) - Increased the volume of Chin-Up Champ and Industrial Fields to be more consistent with the other tracks - previously they were pretty drowned out. Any other music tracks you think could be louder? - Fixed the remix tree link so it no longer sends you to Tram Trouble: Summer Edition. Thank you @ZYellow for pointing this out! - Removing an unused duplicate of Delta's stand costume completes my changelist.
