Thank you <3 ╰┈┈➤ Parenting plan Litter number three! Ghost will /vastly/ be changing her parenting style to try and make sure her kits are /very/ well behaved. So, here’s a moon by moon idea of what she’ll be doing. 0 weeks to two weeks - Ghost will be spending all her time with them as a mother would normally do at this age. She will make sure they don’t wiggle out of the nest and hurt themselves, or get sick at all. End of two weeks to one moon - Ghost will also be spending all of her time with the kits at this time. will make sure the kits are learning the basic skills at this age, walking, starting to try and speak better, play, run. She will also try to start teaching them some basic manners. End one moon to two moons - She will be spending the vast majority of her time with them, but starting to resume some of her leadership duties. She will now allow her kits to explore slightly outside of her den, as long as she is able to be near them as they do. Of course during this time if they ever want to go to the nursery to play with friends or other kits, she will gladly bring them there until later in the night when she will bring them back to her den. She will give the lessons about manners and how to act like a civil cat, being respectful but also not afraid to speak what they believe. She will start to teach them basic hunting crouches and fighting moves as self defense, but teach them only to use them if they are protecting themselves or one another. End of two moons to three moons - Now she will spend more of her time with her kits but also more with the clan, splitting her duties pretty evenly though perhaps trying to spend more time with her kits. She will teach her kits hunting moves, fighting, basic herbs, and leadership duties. She will make them learn to socialize, because she believes that friends are some of /the most/ important things in life. Three moons to six moons - She will continue to be present in their lives more than with her own duties until they become apprentices. She will make sure that they have some friends, know some good manners, know the basics of hunting and fighting, and leadership skills. She still loves spending time with her kits, talking to them, playing with them, and just generally spending time with them. Apprenticeship to warriors - She will make sure to still spend time with them when she can and they aren’t training. If she has an apprentice at the time she will try to make sure to have joint training sessions. She’ll still try to give them lessons about leadership and respect every now and then. If their bond ever falters she will do her best to make up with them. Warriors - She will spend time with her kits when she and they can, whether it be hunting, sharpening skills, talking, or just right out exploring or wandering. She wants to be close to these kits <3
