This God enjoys food very much. Also, he uses a magic powder to heal old, damaged trees and bushes, but also to make the soil fertile again, so plants can grow and there would be enough crops for everyone. On certain days, the mortals offer some of their food to Sheng-Yan as a "Thank you", so he will continue using that amazing healing powder. Sheng-Yan has his name from "Shèngyàn", a chinese word for "feast". I just thought it might add more variety to the name origins of my OCs, not just greek or latin translations.
