The original game, see this link for the game with updates: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/785572678 IMPORTANT: -NO mobile support! -Progress DOESN'T save! What is this game?: This game is about helping people in need by donating to charities. You run a lemonade stand, and 75% of profits go to said charities. *You can choose to donate to Homelessness Helpers, the local Food Bank, or United Health Helpers with your Donation Money. Gameplay Guide: When you first press start, you will be on the map. You can access the map at any point by pressing the "m" button on your keyboard. Go to the park (Lemonade stand symbol) . You will see a lemonade stand, with an empty pitcher. To fill up the pitcher, you must have 1 bucket of water, 4 lemons, and 1 bag of sugar. Read the guide below to get the following items and make lemonade. When you have lemonade, customers will come. Click on them once they have finished asking for lemonade. This will give them 1 cup of lemonade, and $1.00. Donating your money (see guide below on how to) can give you boosts once you have donated so much money (you can see how much you have donated to a company when in their store). You can also get upgrades in the shop with your regular money. [2/3/2025 EDIT]: I'm worried the wrong takeaway could be found from this game, so I'm clarifying: Donating doesn't give anything, and you shouldn't give just based off of what someone else or a charity has for you! You should give to help people, not yourself (although it does feel good!) --- Like Anti Covid-19 Wizard, this project was also made for science fair. This is about educating about poverty, in particular the Sustainable Development Goal "No Poverty". The Sustainable Development Goals are 17 goals created by the United Nations to help provide equity to all and save the environment. They were started in 2015/2016 and are meant to be achieved by 2030. Look it up if you want to know more! :) https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/ (Link to the SDG website) *These charities are made up for the purpose of gameplay. **Recipe may not actually work in real life. ***Uses the USD currency.
