Wanted to do this because I thought it would be cool Sorry for my goofy ahh voice It is literally 9pm Lyrics: The unequals. A niche comic group on scratch that started in September of 2020. It was created by scratch user easF757D, and he invited some of his friends into the group. It was small, but featured some comics that were mainly about randomness. Whatever was in our minds. Most comics were simple, one paged, and colorless. But they were fun. Since these comics were so simple, and easy to make, there were plenty of them. Each comic was put in a scratch “studio”, where the comics could be easily accessed and read via thumbnail. So all you had to do was go into the unequals studio, and read whatever is at the top, and you would see the unequals comics for the day. Most comics were nothing special; just random jokes that did not relate to any other comic. They were just funny little situations, almost similar to the ASDF series by youtuber TomSka. Not all these comics were as simple as first seen, though. Some comics were parts of a story; examples being the Wrath of King B and the Homeless arc. These comic arcs, as they were called, were something to look forward to; something you could wait for, and see what comes next. One of the fun parts of these comic arcs is that not all parts of the arc had to be made by one person. Multiple people could chime in and make it partly their story as well, adding to the randomness of the unequals. Something that is very important, though, is that these comics were just a way to express how you felt, what was in your head, something that didn’t have to be complex, or have a meaning to it, just something you could read, enjoy for a little, and forget. Bite sized entertainment, that would never run out, or at least it had seemed that way. The unequals never officially ended, but after a long time, the greatest creators of the unequals started to lose motivation for providing entertainment. Nothing great lasts forever. As you scroll from the bottom of the unequals studio to the top, you’ll notice the comics just get stranger, and stranger. Sure, they were still random, but not as entertaining as before, and less effort was being put in. I look back at the unequals fondly, and I still want to do something with it, but communicating with the entirety of the unequals group would be really difficult. As of now, I have left it alone. Lots of us have moved on from the unequals. Like I said, it was never officially canceled, but it isn’t the same anymore. I don’t know if it ever will be, because people want to try new things. And people should try new things. Don’t try to do the same thing over and over again, it will only tire you out. Do what you want to. Don’t be equal to everyone else. Be unequal.
