READ INSTRUCTIONS AND NOTES BEFORE USE Double-click or more the green flag for equation updates up top. Sorry, obviously no word problems, just ones using arithmetic symbols. Also, this does not check for non-number characters. In other words, just type in numbers and never divide 0 by 0 when using Divide. If you do, the “quotient” will be NaN (Not a Number). If you divide anything by a letter or 0, the answer will then be Infinity. Just a warning about using the Divide feature. Also, with anything else, letters count as 0. Anything times a letter or a letter times anything is 0, anything minus 0 is the number you started with, a letter minus, say, 11, will be -11, a letter minus 45 = -45, and so on. A letter plus anything or anything plus a letter will be the number on the other side that isn’t a letter. Wow, what a mouthful!
NEW UPDATE ---------------- You can take the last output and use it as the first number in your equation or find the square or square root of it, just like on a mobile calculator. Clearing lets you start with your own two numbers in case you need to, the same effect as clicking the green flag. Clicking multiple times on a button will ask you multiple times. The answer is the one of the first two questions you answered. It's confusing, so just don't try it. If you do, just click the green flag again. To do fractions: If you want to add 1 and a half and 2 and a half, simply do 1.5 + 2.5, not 1 5/10 + 2 5/10. In other words, use decimal numbers and not slashes. If you can’t easily convert it, just download Mathway on your iPad for free, it blows my mind and can do more than everything that SAM does minus the speaking feature.
