Here's the first of a series of projects that I am working on, called "Local Legends". Essentially, these projects will be a series of recreations of real vehicles that I see in my area that stand out to me as being interesting. I always see this 1993 Mercury Tracer Base Sedan parked outside of a Walmart in my area, and I have always loved it since it is so old and visually beat up but still gets daily driven. This car is missing 3 of its 4 original hubcaps, has a substantial amount of surface rust, is missing the c-pillar trim piece on one side, and appears to have taken quite an impact to the front right corner (which you can't see in the photos). It's also registered in Michigan, which explains why it's still considered roadworthy, lol. I hope the owner knows that their car is a true gem and that it improves my day every time I see it :)
