press play press space, left arrow, or right arrow to see process fullscreen for better quality click and drag to zoom (credit to @Colorsnatch) listen to the nice music :) ——————— hello! i didn't originally intend for this project to become an art process but here we are. it's not too into detail becuz its not a tutorial but i hope you all will like it nonetheless ♪(^∇^*) ——————— 1) sketch - sketch is first ! kinda pixelated but you get the idea 2) grayscale - i tried grayscale to get the values and contrast but it didn't really matter later on lol. still good practice tho (^^ゞ 3) base color - to color over grayscale used a layer mode set to overlay and painted on top of the grayscale layer 4) background - pretty self-explanatory 5) background detail - added some cherry blossom petals 6) color adjustments - didn't really like how sharply contrasting the colors were so i wanted to tone it down for a more "faded away photo" kind of look. also this way it makes the reds and bright colors stand out more. i did these color adjustments by mainly using luminosity and overlay layers 7) lighting - love this part :D it looks splotchy in the image but that's because my program exported it weirdly. went for lighting coming from the back/side 8) rendering - BIG change because most of my rendering is done on one layer LOL. after base colors i paint over everything on another layer to refine it and cover up the sketch. lmk if u guys want a tutorial on shading or specific parts ^_^ 9) final touches - maybe you didn't catch it before but now you do (scratch please b nice) 10) done :) ——————— art - me (-mintea-) music - OMORI OST - 005 By Your Side #art #drawing
