I have designed a Shield. This Shield, by the rules of the round, must be powered by something, so I took inspiration from the concept of the Automatic Watch, a watch who's springs get wound by the movement of the wearer's arm. This Shield is powered by the movement of the user during combat. After the springs inside are wound sufficiently, the user may press down a button on the inner side of the Shield to release the mechanism, causing the Blades and front Spike on the outside to spin clockwise very quickly for about 45 seconds. The function can be stopped prematurely by clicking the button back into place, locking the spring again. I can see this function being used offensively, or in order to repel or even break an opponent's Weapon while they are holding it against the Shield. The window on the face is just a way of showing off the mechanism, and can be removed
