So the story behind this is that Silverstrike and Redleaf were brother and sister. StarClan said Redleaf should be a warrior to protect the clan, but Redleaf thought she was a bad fighter and became a med cat. Silverstrike encouraged this, saying that she could protect her clan this way. Redleaf turned out to be a bad medicine cat, and when Shadowclan figured out how to set things on fire, they brutally attacked Windclan. Silverstrike and Redleaf tried to protect their clan, but since Redleaf took up the only med cat space (and we know she was a bad med cat), the clan lost and were kicked out of the forest. (P.S. Redleaf learned her lesson that Starclan knew her better than she knew herself and the pair were reincarnated as Redstar and Silverstripe. WindCan came back into the forest, too.)
