Space In 1970 the Joon Riverside Railway wanted to start a dining train. However none of the dining cars available at the time where not what they wanted. The JRRY decided to build there cars from the ground up. They took spare trucks that they had and built new frames. After that the body were built with wood and steel. Finally acoutromonts and a steel roof were added along with a fully furnished interior. The cars were given the names "Joon River", "Isle Of Solton" and "Soltingham Falls". In 1976 the car were used on the inaugural dinner train hauled by Meurig, the lines oldest engine, and John the lines newest acquisition at the time (Despite john being almost 90 years old in 1977). The cars still run today
