When the laser cannon fires nothing can stop it. Though the laser itself is powerful to penetrate through anything, it cannot destroy planets. While the cannon is charging, other ships need to stay far away from it because of the extreme heat. The ship can also activate a protective shield and can resist any small/medium attack without the shield. The ship is so big it can carry fleets with it.
