Click or space to change scenes/backgrounds - right now there are only a few but I might draw more. --------------------------------------- edit 10/22/23 - this story is SUPER outdated and literally nothing is currently true except for maybe the character and location names and a couple worldbuilding details here read at your own risk - this story can cause death by cringiness ----- Backstory: Peafowlines (peafowl + feline), were often hunted by other cats for their vibrant plumage - thus these cats lived nomadic lifestyles in the depths of the taiga, constantly moving to avoid being found. . . . Indigo, a young Peafowline born into the small but fierce VirtueClan, is no different - traveling often and living cautiously with the rest of his colony. The small clan, isolated in the forest, lives a tough yet content life. However, after VirtueClan is found by hunters and Indigo is left as the only survivor, he sets out to find the rest of his kind, determined to get revenge on those who have wronged him, tired of living constantly in fear. At first, he gets this - upon summoning the rest of the Peafowlines to wage war across the land, Indigo becomes a strong and feared leader, driven only by his lustful anger - and the rest of his kind are very much willing to help. But with every life taken, with every camp destroyed, with every successful mission, the bloodthirst that Indigo had once burned forests to satisfy begins to fade - and as the other Peafowline grow more and more violent, Indigo is forced to question where his loyalties truly lay. . . . When the Peafowline hold a "ceremony," sacrificing more than two clan's worth of kits, it's the last straw for Indigo. What once was a simple quest for revenge has become a widespread homicide - and Indigo isn't sure how to stop it. That is, until he meets Sienna, a valiant, young Falconilynx (Falcon + Lynx) whose clan had met the same fate that Indigo's had, many moons ago. Together, they think up a foolproof plan Indigo believes will condone for his many mistakes and end the war - and the Peafowlines - for good. Nothing could go wrong... …right? With only one chance to stop everything, Indigo is not about to pass it up, determined to prove to the world that he's not the cat he started out as. If need be, Indigo is ready to do anything to put an end to the nightmare that he created. No matter what. . . .
