Named after a naval battle in the so-called Surishima strait(The strait between the P.S.E. and New Nagpur) in 1944 that was witnessed by the population before the P.S.E. was established. This class of supercarrier has carried some design aspects of the previous titan class and incorporated some new design elements as well. This class of carrier is larger, and can carry more aircraft as it has more efficient and smaller nuclear reactors than the titan class.
