Ayyy so I twisted the palette again, I hope you don't mind :"D though only with the background, not anything else. Just the background. I tried to give the background a more numb feel, if you know what I mean lol- though it's covered a lot by shading and gradients, whoops ;w; Yes I did this with scratch and not my other program. I felt like doing this on scratch so I did it on here. You're welcome ;"D And I also included a process because why not :') 1. Sketch. Not really too much to say about this lol 2. Lineart! I used black because the darkest colour itself was black sooo uh XD (surprising because I usually don't use black for lineart unless necessary :") ) 3. Erased sketch haha- pretty self explanatory. 4. I made the bird smaller because I thought he was a bit big. I added Holly's eyes and coloured in the bird :"D 5. And I forgot to add in Holly's leaves so I just- 6. Flat colours. There wasn't much to it, so it was pretty easy to do lol 7. And flat shading because I couldn't wait. I didn't do too much shading on Holly because I also don't exactly know where the shading's gonna go, even though I have the picture in my head. And I didn't do any shading on the bird yet ;'D 8. Background! I normally do the background before the shading now, so I actually know where the shadows are gonna be and what the light source colour is going to be and where and whatever. But anyways- uh yeah edgy background B)) 9. Copy and paste Holly and bird into background :') 10. Ahhh nOw we're talking >B'))) eVEN MORE SHADINGGGG I still didn't shade the bird yet. You'll see why :") 11. Edgy bird òwÓ man why does he look so creepy like that- but I l o v e i t B))) 12. And n o w I shade the bird. Yay. Nothing really much to say about it lol 14. Extra little effects here and there- òwÓ' 13. Words, watermark and we're done! The words weren't exactly very well placed, but I like how they look at least :') I like how this turned out lol. Yeah I did a TNE instead of working on STR. Too bad :")) But I hope you like it, Star! I did the eyes for Hollyleaf a little differently because there was pink on her ref, along with all the other cats's refs, so I figured they were there for effect. So I added it in the way I would normally add extra colours in the iris, as a little ring if you know what I mean :'D I really like her expression though, she looks so worried lol- a minute after I finished this: oH MY GOSH I FORGOT HER SECOND EYEBROW- WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME *quickly adds it* So if you see a second eyebrow in the finished product, that's why lol Credits: Art: me Coding: me Characters: Hollyleaf and a bird - thanks to Erin Hunter for warriors Song: Bird Song - ???
