Whilst working on defense from nuclear weapons, a combination of uranium leaking from the defense mechanism and a few sneezes from allergic scientists created a rather devastating disease that would spread rapidly due to its contagiousness, causing deformities, loss of sight and/or feeling, and emotional deterioration in victims of the manmade mistake that was later dubbed "Magnus Deformitus" aka "Morbies". Right now, the laboratory is under quarantine in hopes of preventing further destruction among the population; however, some of the scientists—with their healthiness being unknown—escaped the lab while they still could, stirring up more panic over the outbreak.
