I looked at this character and thought, "MINE." I also have the perfect backstory for him as well! I saw the due date, October 15, 2022, and I started screaming ahahaha - I may post some more art of this floofy boi, maybe a reference! :] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ :Bio: Name: Bylur Gender: Male Species: Unknown, but is called an Ice Spirit. Age: 13 when he died, now is very old. Birthday: February 3rd Height: 27'5 feet Weight: 3 tons Diet: Fish, Ice, and Water. Personalities: Chill, grumpy, anti-social, intelligent, and won’t hold a grudge on you. Traits: He likes to sleep in cold, chilly areas, if you give him ice he’ll probably be in a good mood for a day and be less grumpy than he usually is, he likes to snuggle himself in snow and fall asleep. If you were to try get him out of his sleeping spot and he doesn’t move, this indicates he is too comfortable and refuses to arise. He’s peculiarly cold to the touch, like if you hold an ice cube in your hand for too long. He could be a little murderous but also doesn't like blood on his fur, he finds it rather disgusting. He has his mother's necklace with an amethyst in it that she doesn't wear a lot, so when he died and came back to life as an Ice Spirit he kept it and carries it with him today. Abilites: High pain tolerance, instant freezing ice breath, has a strong jaw, agile, he can float and levitate. Dislikes: He hates warm weather because his fur is very thick, so he will shed a lot if he is in that type of temperature. He doesn’t like how he died at such a young age. He also doesn’t blame his mother for his death, his mother was sick and helpless and he wishes that she didn’t die like he did. He also hates how he never got to meet his father, and his siblings died during their hatching. Likes: He absolutely adores ice, it makes him feel all contended and jovial. He loves the cold weather, it makes him feel relieved and refreshed. He loves his mother, and hopes to find her soon. Not only his mother, but his siblings that never got to experience life, and his father. Backstory: Bylur lived a good life with his mother, Okami. Apparently, his father had died in an avalanche so Bylur never got to meet, or see him before. He and his mother lived in a small cave with shiny icicles hanging from the top of the entrance. He loved the satisfaction of cutting a chunk of ice from the frozen water and then snatching a fish with his strong jaw. His mother was 37 years old back then. Bylur loved snuggling up with his mother in the fluffy, crunchy snow and always would stay by her. One day, when Bylur was 13 years old, he skated on the icy frozen water without his mother’s supervision this time. Scratch marks appeared as he staked, and those scratch marks turned into cracks. Massive cracks. Bylur wasn’t even paying attention, too swallowed up by the entertainment he was having. He even closed his eyes while he skated as well, not being cautious or having any vigilance at all. It was like a show featuring the word oblivion on red curtains that everyone could watch. Bylur was the performer, not even knowing that his life was at serious risk. His mother stepped out of the cave, stupefied to see cracks on the frozen water where Bylur was staking. Okami rushed impetuously towards her son, with a shocked and worried expression on her face. Bylur opened his eyes, surprised to see cracks below him, and to see his mother racing to save him. Tears fell from Okami and Bylur’s eyes, and the ice broke from underneath them both, and they tried to swim up but failed. They both drowned to death, helpless. Bylur came back to life as an Ice Spirit, keeping his mother's necklace wit amethyst in it that Okami didn't wear often. He tries to look for his mother in the underworld.
