Use space, right key and clicking to advance :3 left key to go backwards DISCLAIMER: this is just the way I do things - take it as guidance or completely ignore it :D -_-+-- INSTRUCTIONS--+-_- (we start it bitmap) 1 - sketch out what you want to draw, doesn't have to be neat just skribble it out 2 - line-art over it - I usually use a color close to black, but your choice! 3 - SWITCH TO VECTOR. make a red box over it, then switch the red box the the last layer (if anyone needs help, I can explain further in the comments. 4 - SWITCH TO BITMAP. get the paint fill button and change the color to transparent,, and color in (getting rid of the sketch.) 5 - cleaned up lineart (self explanatory) 6 - I recolored the lineart according to the colors I was going to put there - however, many people like to do this after the base colors are put in, instead of before. 7- base colors! just pick and choose, I'm sure there are videos out there that explain color theory and palletes if you want to check that out. 8 - base shading! (tip: to pick the color to shade with, eyedrop the base color you're shading and make it darker and more saturated - then move it slightly towards blue or red, whichever's nearer.) 9 - highlights! do the same as base shading, but the opposite. (lighter more desaturated color.) 10 - white highlights,, these bois are fun 11 - COPY DRAWING INTO ANOTHER SPRITE FIRST 12 - adding a background. make it desaturated, so it won't take away from the drawing. you can color over the drawing (since you have it in another sprite also.) 13 - copy the drawing from the other sprite (or costume) . make things pop if you want! final detailing- ur done <3
