-yep... it happened- Oct 10: just in case you didn't know, power-washing your Chromebook means that you will lose all of your local data and everything if you have a virus. ( unless you know your e-mail to log in back into your account. don't worry the virus won't be there :) ) if you have a Chromebook and have a virus, make sure to back-up all of your files before doing the following. (if u even know how to do that except me) if you already backed-up your files, then here's the link on how to power-wash your Chromebook. Factory reset your Chromebook Sign out of your Chromebook. Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r. Select Restart. In the box that appears, select Power-wash. Continue. Follow the steps that appear and sign in with your Google Account.
