Brush strokes horribly misinterpret the edge tangent field but creates something interesting in spite of it. I've extracted @gtoal's ETF data into lists and you're free to use them. You'll need to press play or run the INITIALIZE block to populate the x, y, and magnitude lists. I used scratch to convert the ETF picture into lists, so I don't have 100% fidelity... but I think it may be good enough?
This was my first (botched) attempt at using the edge tangent field provided by @gtoal . It didn't really use the ETF very well, but it was an interesting enough effect that I've resurrected it.
