Instructions

A good engine you can use to create good bosses! (Although I can't force you, I highly encourage adding/modifying attacks in your remixes! I play every remix at least once, and I don't like reskins/copies.) Now it's all in 2 sprites! -Added bombs -Added height, arc, and gravity stats for tears, which is basically just a more complicated version of range -FINALLY revamped player tears! 10/26/2023 - V1.6.1 -The project got taken down, but now it's back! :D Whoever reported this, I'm ashamed of you. -Updated the intro cutscene 9/13/2023 - V1.6 -Tear costumes! --You can now set costumes to enemy tears by putting the name of the costume in the new input in the custom block. (The breaking animation consists of the 3 costumes AFTER the one you picked) --Comes with a preset costume; tear -Redesigned continuum tears -Added cracked waves, might add shockwaves in the future -If the boss is a champion, the intro reflects that -Enemy homing tears have updated tracking -Added excelsior boss music -Organized sprite order, for better or for worse -Fixed the death animation bug by adding a 'boss is vulnerable?' variable, I'm sure you can guess what it does -Removed tear clusters -probably some other stuff idk 8/31/2023 - V1.5 -Isaac now shakes in the intro -Added champion support! By default, the boss has a 1/10 chance to become a champion, this can be changed or disabled to your liking -Added proper win screen -Added bouncy tears and continuum tears -Added two types of split tears, a 4-way shot (like cricket's body) and a 3-way shot that goes toward you -Added brimstone lasers from @Lifesaghast -Removed Herobrine 8/27/2023 - V1.4.2 -Added Fiend Folio music 8/26/2023 - V1.4.1 -Better health rendering system, also soul hearts 8/25/2023 - V1.4 -Made the intro animated -Added functional walls, to disable them just hide them -Replaced the health bar with something better, also includes HP display -Added a proper game over screen -Replaced the flash music with rebirth music, it is still in the files if you want it tho 5/11/2023 - V1.3 -Added active items -Added cluster shots by @Lifesaghast 4/10/2023 - V1.2 -Completely overhauled the enemy tear system so you don't have to put that annoying 'wait 0 seconds' between every block -Removed 'toward player' tears because they're kinda pointless, you can make the enemy point toward the player and put the direction reporter in the direction input -Added shielded tears -Changed how teleports work -Removed pacers 12/2/2022 - V1.1 -Added Gapers and Pacers, simple enemies -Created some resources for title screens -Changed how enemy tears work 10/8/2022 - Release/V1.0 NOTE ------------------- The code is a mess and lone blocks are all over the area, so you'll have to do a bit of digging. Use Clean Up Blocks if necessary. RESOURCE To make titles for your boss, use this. https://wofsauge.github.io/IsaacTools/text_generator.html Set the mode at the top to 'VS Screen' and start typing. Delete the sample text and replace it with your boss's name. Once you're done, save it and open it in the project. This step is optional, but I usually trace it in Vector before the next step. Copy the costume, then paste it in the top left/right corner of the Thumbnail sprites (both!) In case it wasn't obvious, delete the old title.
