The blue jay is a spring and winter migratory bird. The blue jay usually lives in the eastern and mid-western US, and in Canada's southern provinces. Each year, in spring, they gather in groups of 50 to migrate along the East Coast and Great Lakes. In winter, they migrate back south, but some stay in the northern areas. Blue Jays usually migrate in groups of 50-70, but sometimes no less than 40 or even 30! Blue jays are very flock-based birds, even living in scrubland bushes, or even in surburban gardens in groups! That concludes my facts for the migration of the Blue Jay! Hope you enjoyed reading!! :D
