Founded in 1964 by Jeffery Xavier, XT is one of the competing "Sixth network" in the US television market. It mainly airs English telenovelas, game shows, sports, and other general entertainment. It also targets school-aged youth and teens aged 7-17 with Zone (styled ZON≡). It's sister channel, XE (launched in 2002 as Magma), airs general entertainment for young adults aged 18-45. It also targets preschoolers with Playhouse.
