Instructions

Before you start playing, find someone to play with you. Player 1 (Starts in Bottom Left) Controls W- Forward A/D- Turn S- Shoot 1- Toggle AI Player 2 (Starts in Top Right) Controls Up Arrow- Forward Left/Right Arrows- Turn Down Arrow- Shoot 2- Toggle AI The goal of this game is to shoot the other player, while avoiding being shot yourself. You and whoever you're playing with will each have 3 lives at the start of a round. If you get shot, you lose a life. If you lose all three lives, the person you're playing with gets a win, and the round gets reset (excluding win counts).

Description

This took like 50 variables and a ton of code to make. It was hard. The funniest part is that 3/4ths of the variables relate to movement. Note: The game is a tiny bit buggy, so if you find a glitch, deal with it. I will fix any glitches I know how to fix. Another Note: If you want the game to run 30 times a second on full screen, go into turbo mode. 1.1: Power-ups! Now you can get an edge on your opponent if you are lucky enough! 1.1.1: Added a 4th power-up that heals you. 1.1.2 Optimized the code. The reason for this is that I eventually plan to add in AI. 1.2 AI! I added in AI for you to fight against. Just to let you know, the AI is kinda stupid and weird. I'll fix it soon. 1.2.1 Something very simple was added. Sound affects. Pretty self-explanatory. 1.2.2 I added in shield bubbles! They look cool, but don't work... I am working on that. 1.2.3 Shield bubbles work now! I had to find an alternate way to make it work, but it does! They also take damage and disappear faster if you hit them with the other player's projectile. 1.2.3.1 I changed the colors of the trophies to correspond with the player colors. 1.2.4 Tweaked the code and added a bit of variation. Now the shooters will be different colors. Those colors are randomly picked, but not the same. 1.2.4.1 A bit of a fix. The hearts don't go slightly ahead of the player any more.
