Welcome to Space Empire! In this game, you get to build your own Space Empire! Try and get lots of aliens, and not run out of resources. Rules and Instructions: When you start - Build extractor buildings to obtain resources, then build bases to support aliens. Building extractor buildings - There are two ways you can build an extractor building. First, you can click the arrow above the resource you want to extract, then select an extractor building. Second, every 3-9 days (depending on what planet you are on, more info. in "notes and credits") you can click the planet to see if any resources are available for extraction. Clicking the planet will increase the output of resources from that extractor building. Some extractor buildings require upkeep every week (7 days). You can see your production and expense of resources by clicking the home button. Building bases - Once you build extractor buildings, you can build bases. Bases are under the "building material" menu. Once in the menu, you can select a base building to build it. Bases require upkeep per alien habitat per week (7 days). Special buildings - As you get farther into the game, you will unlock some special buildings. Flavored water: A flavored water turns regular water into flavored water. Flavored water can support more aliens and counts for more water in the game. Spaceships: Spaceships help transport aliens around your empire. When you unlock spaceships, aliens will start to judge your empire by how many spaceship transports you have. If you have enough or extra transports, more aliens will live in your empire. If you have not enough transports, less aliens will live in your empire. Space Disaster Destroyer Fleets: These include Pulsar & Magnetar Destroyer Fleets and Black Hole Destroyer Fleets. They reduce the chance of impact of those objects to 50%. Space Disasters - These will set back your empire. They arrive every 28 to 36 days. Pulsars: These kill aliens in your empire. (Damage: 30-70 aliens lost); Magnetars: These destroy extractor buildings. (Damage: 15-30 water/day, 15-30 energy/day); Black Holes: These are the worst of all space disasters. They kill aliens and destroy resources. (Damage: 80 aliens lost, 35 water destroyed, 35 energy destroyed). Planets - As you gain more aliens, you will unlock other planets. These planets will have more resources available for extraction (specific info. in "notes and credits"). To access other planets, click the home button and then select which planet you want to view. What do the different variables mean? "Water", "energy", and "building material" indicate how much of that resource you have available. "Day" indicates how long you have been playing the game. Each "day" in the game is 20 seconds. Most achievements in the game are based on the day (see info. below). "Aliens" indicates how many aliens are living. in your empire (for all planets). "Planet" indicates which planet you are viewing. "Water/day", "Energy/day", and "Material/week" indicate production of resources per a certain amount of time (day or week) "Water/upkeep" and "Energy/upkeep" indicate expense of resources per week. "Alien capacity" indicates how many more aliens can fit in your empire with the current bases. "Transports" indicates how many spaceships there are available.
