No lyrics quoted in the description because they're already on the picture lol Press space to see the version without words, and the original work ;") I hesitated slightly to redraw this piece because it's kinda a special piece to me- but the one year anniversary of it was coming up and I had the urge to redraw it…and a few friends said I should, soo here we are! I know, I know, it's late, but SHUSH PRETEND I SHARED IT ON THE 21ST So. Overall, I think I really like this. There's a few things that are bugging me- like when you look at it from a distance his face looks too long, I'm not quite sure about the expression, and his hair has become very b l u e (not that that's a problem though lol), aaand I feel like I could've emphasized the atmosphere/atmospheric perspective or distance a bit more, aaaaaaand I feel like I made the Milky Way too muddy- but I think I'm okay with those mistakes :") I'm not gonna go back and fix them, THAT'S for sure lol But I still like how this turned out! And not only that, I got it done in a way quicker time (all combined)- so NOT a week haha- than the original and used way less layers (and got better results B))) I can't say much though because I didn't know as much back then-) too >B) So I did quite a few things differently, not counting the rendering of course lol: I changed his pose just slightly, redesigned his outfit (and this is before the labyrinth, this is one of his two "before labyrinth" designs), had fun with creating grass brushes and stuff, and diD NOT USE THE SYMMETRY TOOL THIS TIME HAHAHH oh and added just a glimpse of some of the lyrics pff But they're presented in a different way than what would be expected lol- I also tried out rim light again :") I-I'm not quite sure it looks like rim light buT ANYWAYS But I hope you enjoy this haha. I had lots of fun with it, sacrificed my time I could've spent doing actually productive things to create this redraw, and I got to draw Flint again so :DD (*coughsinnotlikeI'malreadygonnabedrawinghimalotbecauseI'mredesigninghimcoUGh*) oh and, in case y'all are wondering- 56 layers, including the text layers :") the original had 70 darn layers. I brought it down 24 layers. B) I surprisingly do not have that much to say- maybe I'll add more later? I dunno :'P I'll add this though: I'm not spending too much of my time on scratch at the moment, and posting will likely be limited quite a bit- I'm not working too much on STR either, but maybe I can crank out a chapter soon? I know I said I'd try to get it out mid January, but see that did not happen. :) I'll still be on and checking messages and stuff, but I'm not answering as frequently, and I'm not loving and/or favouriting stuff that much either- but I'm still around, haha.
