Albatross a wise happy guy who murdered the whole royal family . . . This Is a chibi style. Albatross was actually really tall and old, Fathoms grandfather, and the queens brother. He used his animus magic freely and constantly, oblivious to the curse. With every spell he cast, he lost a part of his soul, until he went insane, losing his mind. He became insane, killing the royal family and one of he visiting sky wings, Princess Sunset, at a party. Fathom managed to stop him by driving a spear through his heart, but not before he almost killed Fathoms love Indigo. He used his magic to heal her. The only survivor was a few dragons and his sister Pearl who took the throne. She had been traumatized by animus magic, as with every other dragon in the kingdom, including fathom. Pearl forced Fothom to promise to never use his magic again, and to stay away from Indigo for the rest of his life, because he would use his magic for her no matter what, even if he went insane after doing so. He became a skilled woodcarver, depressed and lonely with nothing else to do. All the other dragons in the kingdom feared and despised him for his abilities. Meanwhile Darkstalker, the most powerful dragoon to ever walk Phyrria with mind reading future seeing and animus is discovered to have animus abilities. Fathom is chosen to help Darkstalker not to use his magic, and Indigo is one of his guards. And the story unfold from there, and im not talking to you anymore go read the book if you want to know what happens with Clearsight, Darkstalker, and Fathom. Dont pester me, Wings Of Fire is the greatest book series to ever exist.
