Instructions

Space Built in 1878 by Baldwin for the Caribou Northern Railroad as it 1 and called it "Madawaska". In 1914 it was modernized with electric appliances and a knuckle coupler. The engine was disliked later on do to its small boiler and it's lack of pulling power. in 1939 it was transferred to the Upton & Western Railway which was the CNRR 's sister road. the little engine helped the forlorn and beatup U&W until the U&W closed in 1941. the 1 was to be returned to the CNRR but to pay off debts was sold for scrap
