During an interview with a Trithian soldier an elderly Rapturian man was asked about the legends he told in Rapture. (cuz funny old man tells legends in medieval times) The man started with a story that soldiers had heard murmurs about during their time stationed in Rapture and had asked locals about it but all got the same response, "ask Victor Smith." When he was brought in to be questioned about the story, he told them The Legends of Rapture. "This first story begins a long time ago, the kingdom of Rapture was mighty and strong. Its knights were so powerful that no one dared oppose them, especially their General, Malik Tothorn (Two-Thorn) also known as Malik The Shadow Born. He was given that title by his men after he led a surprise attack against an invading force in the dead of night. They said it was as if he could see perfectly in the dark, like he knew it better than anyone alive. The king at that time, Shane Maddox had requested that his general get his own fitted suit of armor and sword for the bravery that he showed at the battle. General Malik's armor was made with a type of stone that Rapture had come across very few times..."Abyss Stones" (Obsidian) which made his armor a deep black. The sword they had made for him was fitted with "Tears of the moon." (White Sapphires) General Malik died in a war years later, Some say the king hired an assassin from the Red Main's Mask group to kill him. I and most folk in Rapture believe the General still roams Rapture atop his noble steed Plague, wearing his black armor and wielding his sword that now holds the souls of his victims."
