TvT Not that all of this work wasn’t worth it though, because it was. I have been so excited to finally release this and idc if it does well or not because I’ll be proud of it anyway. Also I, for once, made a cool thumbnail! What?! I’m capable of doing that?! Bro this is my google bg rn it reminds me of one of those memorial artworks. This is one of the simplest pallets I’ve used so I spent more time on adding extra movements and little details in the background. A lot of these details are in the form of drawings and it was a lot of fun to imitate a kid’s way of seeing the world and putting it on paper. I also learned quite a bit about other cultures during this process and I decided Cormac would use Filipino names for his parents (Ama and Nany). Likewise, his mother has a Filipino accent while his father has one heck of a Boston accent. I don’t even want to imagine what Cormac sounds like because it’d probably be a combination of the two. Anyways onto all of the fun lore stuff wheeeee segueeee!: The LeVine were the classic crime couple, similar to Bonnie and Clyde, and Cormac was their demonic offspring. Great start. Their crimes were that of petty theft, murder, or treason. After a murder spree Cormac’s family got caught and sent to the prison in Secondary Estate. Cormac, being a child, was too young for this kind of trauma so he got to live alongside Secondary Prince Ametrine. The two became fast friends. Ametrine was a good influence on Cormac; showing him kindness and the magic of friendship or something while Cormac showed Ametrine how to have fun. By stealing stuff. There’s this whole kitchen raid montage. It's great. Sadly, the day eventually came in which the LeVine couple’s execution date was announced. Cormac had a mental breakdown and though Ametrine tried to calm him down, it was to no avail. Cormac tried to set his parents free and got caught in the process. Now, Cormac had been skating on thin ice for a while so this was the final straw. Both royal houses decided he was a criminal and should be treated like a criminal. He was hanged beside his parents at the young age of eleven. Ametrine, ten years old, had to watch that. Poor children. :( Welp, that was a bummer. But it makes for a good story, right? This animatic took me a little over a month and this is the first time I set a due date and didn’t stress about it at all. Because of this I was able to put more effort into the project while still having a set date. (Yaaayyy I finally discovered how to set proper due dates) This description was all over the place despite this being a pretty morbid topic. And for that, I apologize. I hope that you enjoyed this animatic nevertheless, and happy spooky season! This animatic is/was scheduled for October 1st which is fitting for a terrible story about children being traumatized.
