The Petrinosaeraso is a pterosaur like creature that can be found roaming across the sky of Kremos. In fact, this creature is the fastest animal that has ever taken to the skies, and it uses its speed to great effect. Physical characteristics The Petrinosaeraso is about 1 metre long, 0.5 kilograms and has a wingspan of 3 metres. Two wattles lie on both the bill and throat. These are used for display. While most birds on Earth have a hooked tip on the upper jaw, the tip is instead on the lower jaw, perfect for piercing prey on the hook. A sail and spines runs down from the head to the tail are also used for display, while two tusks jut out of the top jaw. These uniquely curved tusks are only found on male specimens and are used to fight other males. Diet The Petrinosaeraso preys on other flying animals and fish. When hunting in the air, it dive bombs on its prey, reaching a huge speed of about 100 km per hour when diving. When it reaches its prey, it punches them with its talons, taking them down with a single hit. When hunting fish, the Petrinosaeraso dives towards the water and grabs it with its bill, piercing them on its hooked tip on its lower jaw. Trivia The Petrinosaeraso is the apex predator of the western region of Vachros, but is still a rare sight, even in coastal areas where it is mostly seen resting on. There is a huge con about this predator though: its wings are not waterproof, meaning that it has to hold out its wings to the sun for them to dry.
