I'll try and get one of the good pixelart animators to do this once the Base 21 are done. Modding Information: I've said before I'm cool for mods as long as you follow a couple of guidelines. This will leave some notes on what I expect of mods. Maybe some How-Tos, but that's unlikely. SSBG is a good template, but I would hope you strive for originality whilst maintaining the integrity of the original game. Competitive Fighter Info: Basically descriptions on how characters will play, listing stats, specials and whatnot. Version & Content Updates: Simple. I'll release the project, and most likely update it with patches and whatnot. Think v0.7.1 or something. 0 would be the completed game, 7 would be a general estimate of how much content would be in the game in comparison to '0', and the '1' would be the patch version. So v1.0.0 would be the Base Roster, v1.4.2 would be includuding some more Fighters and one or two more stages. All modes are planned to be completed prior to release, so just characters will be added in. Leaderboard & News: This is where you see unlocks and recent happenings. E.G. "PotatoPooper completed Classic mode!" or "CarrotMarrow unlocked Chopping Board!" Unlock Requirements: Confused on how to unlock stuff? That's just this. It won't say what you'll get, but I only plan to have Fighters, a handful (Like less than 5) stages and All-Star limited to unlocks. Even then, unlocks are only if I get past the base roster.
This is just a rough design, so it will be elaborated upon. SFX & Voices only are for videoing. Think those combo videos that overlay music. Just makes it so you can listen to whatever you want. Equity is a good thing to have! Music Track: Promise (PaperMikes) Original Track: Multiple tracks from Super Paper Mario, such as Memory 1-4, Bounding through time, and I think a little bit of Count Bleck's theme. Promise, whilst not connected to Smash Bros., was just so fitting to be the Extras theme (The menu, that is). I didn't feel right having this track out of the game. Most tracks have good remixes I can use in battle, but Memory / Bounding through Time / Promise? Not really. So I made it the Extras theme. A perfect fit!
