Description

Year - 1953 ---- CURE PROGRESS: 73.21% --- VIRUS (IMPORTANT EVENT) An extremely volatile strand of the adenovirus is discovered in Amsterdam, this virus will be similar to the severity of the flu at first, but extremely infective, as the virus spreads it will mutate into a potentially deadly combination that may eventually lead to deaths of millions of people. --- --Ways Of Transmission-- ..Direct contact with infected. ..Air contact with the virus. ..Droplet-based contact with the virus. --Symptoms-- ..Sore throat. ..Runny nose. ..Progressive sneezing. (Bad pneumonia in variant.) ..Minor fever. (Major fever in variant.) ..Headache. ..Rarely muscle spasms and seizures. VIRUS-RELATED RULES: -You may not decide the outcome of your actions (prevention, cure/vaccine), me or @coop327 will decide. -The virus may not be discovered in your nation immediately, do not act like it is. -Organizations created during the virus to combat the virus will not be as powerful as ones that were made pre-virus, and will not be respected as much by citizens. -Overly aggressive or prolonged lockdowns/virus control will lead to civilian unrest and will lead to actions being less effective. -Civilian support is extremely important, you must control it in order to control the virus. ---- Use space or tap screen to transition between maps. (press 1 to hide units/key, and reload the page to add them back) ---- PLEASE READ THE NEW RULES! --RULES-- ..Don't be toxic, it ruins the fun of the RP, try not to bring relations from outside the RP into it. You also shouldn't change relations with anyone because of stuff that happens in the RP, as it isn't fun either. ..Be realistic! You can't invade Finland as Moldova or rebel in Ireland five hundred thousand years after it was taken by Scotland! ..Be realistic with numbers! You can't have five million people in your army when you just started protesting a day ago or take over Russia with one move! ..You may not have nukes in the roleplay UNLESS I state otherwise. ..Don't meddle with everyone when you don't need to, it's annoying if you're constantly butting into what other people say. ..Don't decide other people's outcomes, don't say the player nation you're fighting lost 50k while you lost 1k, this rule only doesn't apply if you lost more in the event, you said, or if you are fighting AI. ..This roleplay is favored by far for those who make good strategies and who make complex moves. If you are doing simple moves and your opponent who is way smaller than you isn't, then they will probably win. ..I can deny approval for certain upgrades to tech and advancements if you are OP, if I don't respond to your comment or I say "Ok" you are usually safe to assume I accept (with some exceptions, I may skim through stuff and overlook things). ..Unions are not very fun for the roleplay, so unions with more than two players in them are completely banned (you can have up to 2 dominions/puppets controlled by one player though). Alliances may have unlimited players. ..You may not do extremely unrealistic terraforming projects that edit the map. ..This RP is not about space travel; you may NOT do anything related to space UNLESS I state otherwise or remove this rule. ..If you wish to remove an annoying/OP/etc player from the RP, then you must have at least 4 other people agree with you, then the player will be removed. WITH EXCEPTIONS ..Do not copy other people's messages, if this is seen two or more times then you will be removed from the RP. Not all of the message has to be copied for this to count. ..The user @batewotter and any alternate accounts have permission to deny moves and decide the outcome of moves. ---- --UNITS-- The units will be simple in this project, with the color inside the white square being the color of the nation the unit is from, the number on top is how many people are in that unit, and squares are ground units, while circles are boats. Everyone will start with a unit of a select amount of people (depending on the nation, keep in mind troop count doesn't mean tech strength and strategy, and you can still lose against someone) and if you border the ocean you can have boats (the amount depends on the nation), you are able to gain more depending on population, ideology, policies, etc, and you are able to split them apart and move them at will. --REBELLIONS-- If you want to join as a rebel, you must ask the player of the nation that you are rebelling in, if they turn you down you will only be able to rebel if another nation funds you while they are at war with the nation. This will allow players who don't want to deal with rebellions do not, and it allows players who do want to deal with rebellions to battle against you.
