"Oven time!" Lightning heard her owner scream. They make noise. She will never do it again. She smelled an unusual scent, like a meadow of flowers. A bird sits on a large blade of grass. She sniffs the bird and it flies. She withdrew. I came back. It is in order. It doesn't move here. She understands the bird first. The best she's ever tried. They saw their owners. you said "OH MY GOD SHE KILLED A BIRD WAS FOR THE--?" Lightning frantically scratched at her owner. you were you the word her 'mother' would probably say right away. "YOU DEMON CAT!" She grabbed Lightning and pulled her gloves over Molly's face. She climbed blindly. Her owner hit her and she collapsed. She was led back into the house, whimpering. "That brat killed a bird!" Husband complained to her husband. "WHAT!?" The male was worse. "Come on kitty. The show can wait. We'll find a replacement,” he growled, grabbing Blitz and carry it to the car. He drove her past the meadow into a forest. He threw her out the door, closed it and drove away. She was crying now and fell on the ground. A few minutes later, a tan Heretic rose from the undergrowth and groaned as she saw a flash. "Why are you?" grumbled sister. They were joined by another large cat with the same dirty, matted coat and back color. It was dark pink with dark red spots. The new cat lowered its head and hissed, "You're on Blood Clan territory!" "I am lightning." Her tail whips wildly, her fur is puffed up. "And you?" Calming down now, she smoothed the once-spiky hair down her back and met the cat's eyes. "Oh, and besides, I didn't just 'bring' myself here. If I had a choice, I'd go hunting blue jays in a meadow. But no, no funeral, no promises to /you/." She wiped the tears from her eyes by washing and pretending they never came. The she-cat growled, "I have no name. And it's blood." She wags her tail at the cat and turns her head towards him. "We're not Blood Clan cats anymore," she growled at Blood, "so it doesn't matter that she's here." “We form our own clan. Would you wish to join? We call it WildClan, so, um, I think my name is Wildstar." "And what would I do?" “Well, first you must become an apprentice. Do you want to be a warrior apprentice or a medicine’s apprentice?' said Wildster. "And it's GOOD when you catch birds," she stifled a laugh. "Oh, and besides, I'm not sure if MY funeral will be held instead of yours," Wildstar said, straightening to her full and massive height, shaking her fur and pulling her claws. "Since this will be my territory and I don't approve of strangers -" she stepped closer to Lightning and put her paw on Lightning's chin - "do it or -" she pulled out her paw and scratched Lightning's chin "- you die. AND there are two wild, trained cats that are much bigger than you…” Wildstar looked down at Lightning with a wicked grin on her face, "- and a little kitten, so the odds aren't in your favor." "I probably won't do anything if you threaten me with death. You should know that." She smiled slightly. "But for this offer...I'll think about it." She quickly turned and ducked into the bushes. "I'll be back!" she called after her, then disappeared in the wide forests in search of the well-groomed meadow that she loved. Wildstar ran after her, stamping his paws on the ground, their bands much larger than Lightning's. Eventually she overtook Lightning and blocked her path. "Are you looking for the pasture?" Lightning growled. She punched Wildstar in the face to cut off his eye. Wild Star tried to dodge, but Lightning managed to cut the corner of her yellow eye. Wildstar growled, catching lightning in a tight grip. "Shall I throw them now...?" Thought Wildster. "Yes," she threw at Lightning, who landed on the floor with a soft "bang". Wildstar ran over and grabbed Lightning's neck again. "You will be our prisoner until you decide. But first we need to find the camp,” Wildstern said, then turned to Blood. "You will be my deputy. Your name will be Bloodlight!” They went deeper into the forest, the undergrowth thickened. Wildstar occasionally stumbled because a 27-month-old cat was waiting, and she realized that the amount of blood dripping from the scratch Lightning left probably meant it had turned into a scar. "It's strange that I've lived such a hard life, but this is my first scar," she thinks. Lightning found that this cat's firm grip was stronger than its owner's. She had never found them "gentle" before, but now it seemed true. The fall didn't do her much harm. Her downy feathers covered part of it, and she was used to being tossed about. Suddenly there was a rustling in the bushes and Bloodlight ran towards it and came back with a fox tooth on the spikes on his collar. He put it in Lightning's collar. "It will be there until you make a decision, and you will keep it if you say yes," he said to Lightning.
{ § Read Instructions first! § } Wildstar saw a tunnel leading to a thorn forest, with a smaller tunnel in the thorn forest. There were two high rocks side by side and she threw bolts of lightning between them and bloodlight blocked the only exit as Wildstar looked around the tunnel. She entered the bushes which opened to a cave with a crack in the roof that let in light, there was a large cave with soft moss and a large one with grass and another that might be other caves and one with overhanging rock. She was a little surprised by the gift and then realized how complex these cats are. First they ask them to join them. Then they threaten her with death and take her prisoner. will you give her a present now? no It wasn't really a gift. It wasn't a bribe either. It was a sign. One she had to win. And she was determined to win it. She wouldn't ask to join. She would prove her worth until they accepted her. 'Thank you' didn't seem right to say. nor 'how the hell did you kill a fox?'. She was in the tunnel. She wouldn't say anything. She will not compliment them. She would let them do what they did until she found a way to prove herself. Wildstar stepped out of the tunnel and caught a bolt of lightning. She trotted into her new hiding place and saw a silver cat with gray paws and tail sunning itself on the new high rock. Wildstar grunted and put Lightning in a cave and pushed a rock over the exit, which only showed a small crack. "You stay here until you decide. You can always ask for food, water, or treats,” she said, then trotted off to speak to the silver cat, and maybe she would find a new tribesman. { § End of Thread 1 § }
