Breakfast was commencing, when Hannah heard multiple bangs outside her house. The bangs sounded like they were getting closer and closer. “Quick, under the table!” Yelped Hannah’s mom. “What’s happening?” Panicked Hannah as the fresh scent of burnt grass wafted through the open window. Hannah’s father laughed sheepishly, “So the thing is…-“ You’re a princess!” Interrupted Hannah’s mom. Hannah’s dad shook his head. “Oh shush. It’s better to rip off the bandaid all at once, Hudson! Remember that!” Ranted Hannah’s mom. Hannah’s jaw dropped, and her eyes grew wide.”That means… I’m the reason all this is happening?” Thought Hannah, in shock. They had to stay under that table all day. The only way they could get lunch was by Hannah’s mom crawling under the garbage can lid and crawling all the way to the fridge. By nighttime, the bangs stopped, and it was safe. As her parents fell asleep, Hannah ran outside. She wasn’t safe here. Her family wasn’t safe here. Millions of people could get killed- because of her! As she ran, she found the tiniest little frog. “Aww! I think I’ll call you Lilypad.” Said the girl. The frog croaked, “Thank you. That is a very nice name.” “You can talk?” Asked Hannah in bewilderment. “Better. I can sing.” Said the frog, proud of herself. Hannah ran back home, but by then it was too late.
