Welcome to the seventh chapter of my Warriors fan fiction novel! ↴ Chapter Seven: SkyStar twitched her tail nervously, her claws tugging at the go rung impatiently. She wished that a FallenClan patrol would come, and to her surprise, she heard the rustle of a bush. She perked her ears up, and scented the air, smelling FallenClan and HopeClan mingled together. ‘Could FallenClan be bringing them back this easy?’ She asked herself in confusion. ThornHeart lifted his head beside her, standing. “SkyStar. I smell HopeClan and FallenClan.” He remarked, and SkyStar nodded. “I do too.” At that moment, and FallenClan warrior, OakenBell, and PollenPaw emerged from the bush, OakenBell seething, his tail lashing. “Oh! Greetings, SkyStar.” The FallenClan warrior greeted with a dip of her head. SkyStar opened her mouth to respond, but ThornHeart interrupted with a snarl, “Why have you come here?” “I come in peace to bring OakenBell and PollenPaw home. WolfStar let them off the hook.” The FallenClan warrior replied cooly. “And your name is?” SkyStar inquired. “CoyoteBlossom.” The FallenClan cat replied. OakenBell and PollenPaw seemed oddly silent, but SkyStar shrugged it off and dipped her head in that is to CoyoteBlossom, then left, leading OakenBell, PollenPaw, and ThornHeart away. As they arrived in HopeClan camp, FrogPaw approached. “PollenPaw! You’re back!” He cried in joy, rushing over and nuzzling her. PollenPaw smiled at him. “Yep!” She meowed. SkyStar smiled at the two apprentices, then leapt onto the Hope Rock and disappeared into her den with a sigh, thumping down. SongLeaf pushed onto the den. “Something troubling you?” SongLeaf asked quietly. SkyStar sighed, looking away. SongLeaf looked away, then murmured, “SkyStar…” SkyStar looked up. “Yes?” SkyStar asked. SongLeaf closed her eyes, then in a worried tone, confessed, “I’ve received a prophecy.”
