Hello. Yes, Ik, Ik… I havnt made a message of the week in months now, but honestly… there’s like 3 ppl that rlly read them anymore lol. SO… I’ve figured out that MAYBE the message of the week was too… eh, too much of a “cheering you on” weekly message. Not that that’s bad, but just a message that’ll make you feel better. I kinda always wanted the motw to be a place where you can read it, feel convicted, & grow in ur faith. I see now that yes, iron sharpens iron so humans sharpen humans, but those messages are NOT sermons at all. Yes, they tell what the Bible says and all, but… idk, I just feel like they were too loose ended, if you know what I mean. Not much to back them up on, not to much scripture, too much of me, etc etc etc. So these past months, I’ve been thinking on what I could do to again, post something weekly, but make it less surrounded by me and what I feel, and more about exactly what the Bible says, word for word. So, I will be making a new series soon (title TBD) NOT about what I feel or something to cheer you on, rather something you can gain knowledge over. Now, let me make this clear… I am NOT a teacher, pastor, etc. I am simply a teenager who wants to sharpen others who may be worn down and dull. I want to do this by telling exactly what the Bible says, not what I feel is right. Before I did this, I wanted to make sure my details are right, accurate, and trustworthy. And they are. My sources are my leaders at church, mainly the ones who I meet up with every week to study the book of Genesis. (That is, me and my friends meet up and they help guide us). 2 leaders, one was once an actual biblical history teacher at a Christian college. So, he knows his stuff. I will update everyone on what I come up with for a name soon.
