Information you should know: This project, a recreation, was based on an old screensaver that circulated the internet in the late 90's and early 2000's. The screen saver became known as XYtG, after the name of the execution file that ran it. After it began circulating, people started going missing, including my best friend's dad. Those who didn't go missing supposedly experienced hallucinations of the creature represented in the animation. After some convincing, my friend let me borrow his dad's Windows 4, which has had the file in it since his disappearance in 2006. I drew the .gif file of the creature's bouncing icon from the original screensaver's execution program, and imported it to Scratch, making everything else on my own. The music that I chose for this is the closest to the weirdness of the music used in the OG screensaver, which I couldn't isolate due to file restrictions that weren't present on the .gif creature (strange). Nothing bad has happened so far, but Heaven knows what I've re-released upon this world. Have fun. Credit to pilotredsun on YT for the music.
