OH ARCEUS This pairing is just a self insert X an idealized N. N isn't a bad boy. He is a very socially awkward math nerd. AND JUST BECAUSE THEY WENT ON A FERRIS WHEEL DOESN'T MEAN IT'S 'TWU WUV'! What does N say in that scene? 'Hey, I'm the king of Team Plasma, I like Pokemon, I'm going to beat the champion, try and stop me', basically. Very romantic, I'm sure >:/ Most of the pairing is based on the fact that the FWShippers find N attractive. They base nothing on N's personality or how he acts in the game, or what he says in the game. Things that would interfere with Ghetsis' plot are thrown in without any explanation, like N having a phone (that's two things wrong... It would be an Xtranceiver, and N wouldn't be allowed to have one). Many FWShippers ignore the fact that N had little human contact during his childhood, and that he cares about Pokemon more than anything, INCLUDING HILDA. In my fanfiction, even though N and Hilbert were in a relationship, after N fails to save Azelf, he has an emotional breakdown! I also showed signs of his bad past, as he asks if Hilbert is disappointed that N failed. I wrote that because Ghetsis did intent to dispose of N because he failed to beat Hilbert in battle, and it may have affected his conscious. He also refers to math a lot, showing how much he likes math (remember how he TALKED ABOUT FORMULAS THE ENTIRE GAME???). THAT IS HOW YOU WRITE N, OKAY?! If you think an idealized N and a Self Insert Mary Sue is true love, I'm really done with you, FWShippers.
