Finally, after months of 0 motivation to make a thumbnail, it's here! Featuring four high quality designs. 1 & 2 were based off of moodboards, 3 was based off a picture, and 4 came from my brain :> PLEASE NOTE: THE ART IS OLD, ESPECIALLY 1, WHICH IS LIKE 3 MONTHS OLD (and wasn't intended for the dta but I added it anyway) THESE ARE NOT EXAMPLES OF MY CURRENT ART (the designs are at least a month old each as well, so not recent, but they're decent designs for me) ALSO NOTE: scratch absolutely WRECKED the quality so hq versions are there if you copy and paste the ibb links :') Designs: 1. Winter Speckles (this one's my least favorite, I still like it but was hitting designer block and this was made over the course of several months) https://ibb.co/S6DycBF Rules: [PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS] - No stealing/copying/tracing/heavily referencing anyone else's art for your entry! - No using Picrew/any sort of avatar creator - You can SLIGHTLY edit the design, but not too much please. - Species-bending is totally fine. If you're gonna turn it into, like, a human, please try to keep it as recognizable as you can. - No tracing/heavily referencing my art for your entry! - No guilt-tripping! - No trash-talking, putting down anyone's entry, including yours! (No "oh yours is so good I have no chance". That's 1. really uncomfortable for the artist and 2. rude to your own confidence) - Be kind! - Any art medium is fine! Digital is preferred but I love to see what you people can do with paper! - You can enter for as many as you want, but you can only win ONE. - Your entry MUST be a remix to be counted. If you have multiple projects, they don't all have to be remixes as long as they are ALL linked in the remix. If you're entering something that's remixed from something else just link that in a remix of this project. - Thanks for reading all of that. I know it was a lot. Tips for your entry: [you don't have to read this part it's just what I like] - Animation/AMV/PMV is really cool! Not that into animation memes though (unless it's like a lot of animation not just tweening) - Ssssshadinggggg!!!! - Backstories! Not, like, a jillion paragraphs, but a short story (like 1 google doc page length) is great. FAQ: [READ THIS BEFORE ASKING A QUESTION] "Can I enter" I think you can figure that out by yourself. Hint: is it open? "Is it open" I dunno... maybe the name of the project can help you with this one...? "Can I species-bend" Read the rules. "Can I change the design" Read the rules. "I want ____" Then you gotta enter for 'em. "What is a DTA/How does it work" A DTA is a Draw To Adopt. Basically, you draw the design(s) you want (following the rules ofc) and submit it. At the end I look at all the art and my favorites get to keep the design. "When's the due date" March 31st. "Can I have an extension" Of course. 2 weeks max.
