Faker ran quickly to get the candles, while Needlem0use went to get a stick. By now, Navy had fully crystallized, and everyone else was either dead, hurt, scared, or oblivious. Nexis put her mask up, and Shade went behind a box. “Shads, what are you doing?” Gem started to get up, but then fell over. She hadn’t even realized that there was a broken bone in her leg, from when Eternity fired the beam. It had not only hit her brother, but her as well. Lord X seemed like a nice guy, even though he was about seven feet tall, terrifying, and had a scary voice. But, her Uncle knew him, and most everyone her uncle knows is pretty much tall, scary, and has a cool voice. They’re all good at singing too. But another reason he seemed nice, is that on one of his fingers lay a wedding ring, that has something inscribed in it. Something in Japanese, Gem thought. Lord X then noticed her staring at his ring. “It’s pretty, right?” Gem jumped suddenly. “Sorry, I, uh, was wondering what it said. I don’t mean to stare.” Lord X smiled. “Oh, no, completely fine. It says, “Ai wa owari no nai saikuru,” meaning “ Love is an Endless Cycle.” Cool, right?” Gem thought, Aww, that’s so sweet. I bet whoever he’s with is very happy. Then, someone came out from behind the box. Xaro was startled, then he raised Tesseracts to create blasters. The person was just as startled. “Whoa, sorry! Xaro, it’s me! Shade! Remember?” Xaro lowered the 5d cubes. “Whoops, sorry. Wait, why do you look… different then?” Shade then stepped forward. “The reason I have been more tired than usual, is because I have been learning how to crystallize stuff, including myself. Look at me, I look so cool! I didn’t know I could even do this, but turns out, I have crystal powers!” Sonic cringed at the sight of her crystallized form. She looked exactly like Mephiles. Nav-I mean, Xenophanes looked at her in her crystallized form. She almost looked as cool as him. But, no time for that, he thought. Lord X had set up everything that was needed, except for the people. Xenophanes walked over to the ritual, and motioned to Gem to come over. “Turn .EXE, quickly please.” Gem did as he said. “Now, we need, um, actually, a crystal would work. Xeno?” Xeno pulled out a crystalline quill from the impressive mane on his back, and placed it on Strike’s chest, which had an X carved into it. Lord X had made it to where, if they all step on the circle in unison, it would unleash the magic upon Strike’s body. Then, all at once, they stepped on it. The pentagram began to glow pink, then the crystal. Then, it stopped. Xeno kneeled against Strike, and begun trying to wake him up. “Strike? Strike, oh please wake up!” Lord X was clenching his hands over his face, repeating, “Please, please, please let this work,”. Strike’s eyes began to open, and then he jolted awake. “AHHHH! WHERE AM I? WHO ARE YOU?! WHERE-?” Gem had kneeled over Strike, and hugged him. “Welcome back, bro.” Strike got up, and stood. He touched his face inadvertently, and felt something wet. He looked down at his hands, and there was blood dripping from them. His eyes widened, and he touched his face again, under his eyes. More blood. Then he started to scream. “aaaAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH-“ A hand from behind clamped over his mouth, and you could still hear muffled screaming. Lord X said, “He’s in shock, it’s normal. My exact reaction.” Xeno uncrystallized. “What did we do to him?” Gem asked. Lord X replied. “We turned him permanently .EXE. Hey, it’s better than staying dead, right?” Fin
