So, here we have my first attempt at drawing a boy not-from-life since Rhei. (And the 100+ group shot, come to think of that, but none of them were detailed enough to count.) I'm actually quite happy with it. It's also a traditional drawing. I don't trust my computer at all at the moment, for reasons outlined in my 'Public Service Announcement' and 'I'm Back' projects, and if I'm going to lose all my computer-based work I'd rather it were a photo than the art itself. The photo is not great, because to take it I had to tilt my laptop screen back by almost 180 degrees, an action that has been known to trigger my laptop's chronic hardware problems before.
