Instructions

"GROUND STAGE" FROM "NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. (DS)" WILL APPEAR IN SUPER SMASH BROS. GOLD! This is the remastered version of the stage. In comparison to the original, I've come a long way in terms of design. There's a design philosophy I maintain with the stages, where they can be played in a light competitive setting, but not a complete competitive setting. This makes the stages very enjoyable to play on. This is what I expect out of stages. I'd say most stages will be like this, some may look like older designs, but 80%-ish should carry this philosophy. This also introduces a new thumbnail format for the game, with the new characters on one side, JeffyJeff_Productions' logos on the other, and the SSBG X Logo at the top. Whether or not I'll make more stages announcements is unclear, since I've got my 2 weeks dev crunch starting right now and I want to focus on the major stuff and keep most content as surpises now. Feel encouraged to maybe make your own stages! Just make sure it feels like SSBG, K? Other stages that may carry this philosophy include various Mario, DKC and Zelda stages. Some series may be more casual than competitive, like Metroid or EarthBound.
