When he was hunting a dog that got away from its owner and attacked him he chased the dog away. Then he came back to camp but was badly hurt and nearly dead. He said the dog was dead when it wasn't but all of his clan thought he was telling the truth. About five moons later he became leader. Now Flamekit(later Flamestar)'s story. She grew up as a Fireclan kit and she was able to sneak out of camp. She soon after wondered over the Iceclan boarder and was attacked by Icewisker. A Fireclan patrol saw her being attacked soon after and saved her. She then grew up in Fireclan and became leader.
