Each year in the U.S. there are an estimated 15,780 children between the ages of birth and 19 years of age who are diagnosed with cancer. Every child who is diagnosed with cancer fights every single day to just stay alive. This is why in 2012, President Barack Obama proclaimed September to be National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Although, there is no cure to cancer yet, you can still make a difference. My donating to places like St. Jude's, or even just going to go visit a child in the hospital can make all the difference.
