Instructions

Remembering the Twin Towers and the Victims of 9/11 On the morning of September 11, 2001, it seemed like another ordinary New York day. The sun shining, people heading to work, kids heading to school - you know, the normal stuff. But then, at 8:46, everything fell apart. Civilians watched planes crash into the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center. Black smoked gushed into the blue sky. The towers fell an hour later, and 2,000 people were killed. A plane also crashed in the Pentagon, the U.S. military headquarters. While all of that was happening, another plane was heading towards Washington D.C. It took off late, and a relative of a passenger told them about the World Trade Center. The passenger spread the news to other passengers, and together they attempted to take over the plane. They stormed the cockpit, but failed. They might’ve failed but they hadn’t lost yet. The hijackers lost control, causing the plane to crash in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. A total of 3,000 people died that day. And with this project, we will dedicate our hearts to the victims of that day. Never forget 9/11! In the aftermath, memorials were built, America entered a war, and Queen Elizabeth (21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022) had the Star Spangled banner performed in Buckingham Palace. US plane security was reinforced and the families and friends of 3,000 people mourned.
